I found CrossFit in July of 2008 and fell in love with it.  I became highly involved with the local CrossFit scene at the time, as CrossFit helped mesh my educational background with my love for coaching, training and nutrition.  I invested in the local affiliate I had joined and after several years of being the head coach and an owner there, had my first child.  After my first son was born, I sold my share and opened up No Risk, closer to home.  Since 2008, I worked full time as a science teacher, part time as a rugby coach, along with coaching CrossFit, owning a business, and being a dad.  In 2017 I left teaching to focus on running No Risk and reaching as many people as possible to help increase their health and well being.

I love coaching for the relationships you build and seeing people under your tutelage make progress towards their goals is highly rewarding
